Control de esfinteres

El control de esfínteres supone el paso de un comportamiento reflejo automático a una conducta voluntaria y controlada. Decimos que no hay control de esfínteres cuando el niño moja la cama durante la noche y/o se moja los pantalones durante el día, después de determinada edad.

La mayoría de los niños normales logran el control diurno entre los 2-3 años. Hacia los 5 años ha adquirido ya el control nocturno y entre los 12-14 años únicamente el 2% de los niños permanecen con incontinencia ocasional. Es importante señalar que cualquier situación que produzca tensión o ansiedad puede estorbar o interferir el control de esfínteres.

Qué pueden hacer los padres y madres para ayudar al niño

* Tener muy claros los hábitos que queremos conseguir (en este caso el control de esfínteres pero también cualquier otro hábito como puede ser vestirse y desvestirse, lavarse los dientes ...)

* Acompañar siempre a los niños en estas actividades y enseñarles cómo deben hacerlo.

* Hacerlo siempre en un ambiente relajado, tranquilo y comprensivo, sobre todo cuando ocurra algún "fallo" (estamos empezando).

Guía para detectar el Autismo

El autismo debe ser determinado por un especialista; pero aquí os dejo unas pautas que pueden ser señales de alerta.

En algunas ocasiones, niños y niñas sin problemas pueden presentar ciertos síntomas que aqu´ñi se muestran, pero una persona con autismo acumula un alto número de estos síntomas, que deben ser evaluados por un especialista para saber si realmente estamos ante un caso de TGD (trastorno general  del desarrollo ) o TEA ( trastorno del espectro autista) y así poder tratarlo adecuadamente.

- Se ríen sin motivo aparente.

- Les cuesta mantener el contacto visual.

- Puede no tener lenguaje oral, que no intenta compensar con gestos o mímica, o tener un lenguaje con alteraciones.
